Tokyo Ghoul:re [Chapter 86]
Climactic as all hell, this chapters got a lot going for it. The fall of Eto, the revelation of Arima working together with Eto for a long time now, Hirako resigning, and Kaneki taking the One-Eyed King title from Arima. Oh man. Big battle against the investigators next. It feels like a new beginning for Ken Kaneki.
DICE: The cube that changes everything [151]
Lots of buildup this chapter. Biggest takeaway is Nani's concern for Suksoon. It looks like she's getting ready to look for him. Flags raised. Apart from what, we can only wildly speculate what the implementation process will do for Dongtae.
Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction [Chapter 39]
Alright. That's definitely the start of the gears turning. In standard storytelling, this would be a midpoint where there's a point of no return. That's exactly what this chapter offered. Which begs a few points: will humans ever try to communicate with the aliens? How will the aliens fight? To what geological scale will this event affect?
Ane Log [Chapter 45]
Another soccer chapter, but there's progress -- Moyako actually knows stuff about soccer now. Though, that doesn't stop her from believing that Akira's keikaku is to get closer to her and fondle her. Not the funniest chapter, but I appreciate the intensity from Moyako at the end. She's gone full Wesker with her global outlook.
Zero Game [Chapter 3]
Fairly new release, glad I picked this up early. Decent good premise too, despite the game thing being done very frequently these days. MC Yoo Han Ra just got placed first over everyone. A game admin seems to have known her for a long time. Her family member? In any case, Shin-Wu seems to have a cunning plan for taking out San.
Incredible how Dokgo Rewind is still putting out chapters like it's going out of style. The translators must be putting in a lot of effort. Seems like Tokyo ESP is drawing to a close. Next chapter will be it's last.
Started reading Okama Report, Tsuyokute New Saga, and some other manga to get a bigger variety. But I feel like I should rummage around the shoujo section sometime. Takane to Hana looks promising. Hmm... I'd like to find something less well-known though. That'd be nice.
