One Punch Man [Chapter 99]
Intense action sequences this lengthy chapter, paired with character development for Genos. Cockroach is proving to be an impressive adversary. Fubuki gets whipped into shape or into oblivion, we'll have to see how she pulls through. Awesome emotive faces.
Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko! [Chapter 362]
It's actually pretty sweet how Jun loves Tomo for who she is. A storm of focused rage.
World Trigger [Chapter 151]
Big strategy session taking up the chapter, a good reprieve from the action. This manga tends to find that balance between, which is nice. While it's strategy-forming time, teams are already duking it out with their brains. Also, bonus points for the avatars on page 7. Fun references.
Arachnid [Chapter 63]
Kurokawa's defeated, but the ants are now essentially mindless zombies. Infection is set to take out half of Japan, which is the Organization's plan. Big bad right now isn't only the boss of said organization, he's also Alice's dad -- and he's behind pretty much every bad thing that's happened. Expecting a great fight scene soon.
Dekisokonai no Monster Trainer [Chapter 1]
A light novel adaptation. Another thing with slime as the foundation. Though, not as entertaining as Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken. While the tropes are evoked to 11 here, I feel like the one thing this manga's got going for it right now is a rather resourceful and keen main character. But... It feels so... generic.
Pretty short day for me. I should really catch up with a lot more manga so I can start noting more.
I know Aphorism just released chapter 70, and Dokgo Rewind has been churning out chapters on various manga sites, but I haven't gotten around to them yet. Tiger & Bunny - The Comic is also a big one that I should get to. Looking to add more romance or drama in particular.
